  • Theatres / Music Festivals - As well as the larger towns such as Macerata, which is particularly famous for its open air opera in July and August, and Offida, many small towns boast their own theatres:  Sferisterio, Amandola Teatro, Teatro Ventidio Basso, Offida

  • Palio – re-enactments of medieval sporting contests including horse-racing, archery and jousting
  • Beaches – Twenty-eight sandy beaches in the 180 km Le Marche coastline have been awarded the Blue Flag. The nearest beaches to Montelparo include Pedaso, Porto San Giorgio, Cupra Marittima, Grottammare and San Benedetto del Tronto
