Outlet Shopping - Prada, Tods and more….

Outlet Shopping in Le Marche, Italy

Few people can resist a beautiful pair of shoes, especially when those shoes are Made in Italy.
If you've got a thing about shoes and, in particular, Italian shoes, handbags and other leather goods you won't want to miss a trip to the outlets in Le Marche which is famous for its leather craftsmanship and produces around 90% of all Italian shoes.  Le Marche has an endless number of manufacturers and designers and hidden in the hill-top towns are small businesses, outlets, shops and factory stores where you can pick up famous (and not so famous)-brand fashions at a discount.  If you want to see true artisans at work Le Marche is not to be missed.

In the quest for discounted high street brands don’t miss out on local artisans who are still hand-stitching shoes.  Shoe making is concentrated around the towns of Montegranaro, Monte Urano,  Civitanova Marche, Porto Sant 'Elpidio and Sant'Elpidio a Mare.

If you have more expensive tastes the area of Casette d’Ete should satisfy you.  Here you will find a Tod's outlet located in a wing of the factory which also produces the Hogan, Fay and Roger Vivier brands and just across the road there is an outlet village (Il Castagno Outlet Village) housing the likes of Prada, Hugo Boss, Marc Jacobs and more.

We mustn’t forget hats – a great fashion accessory.  Hat-making is another skill for which Le Marche is world-renowned.  Most Italian hats are made in and around the small town of Montappone where they make anything from a baseball cap to high-fashion cat walk creations.  The Sorbatti family, who are famous for their Panama hats, have an outlet shop in Montappone where it is possible to admire, try and buy the latest styles at prices well below the normal shop prices.

Stay in one of our luxury rooms and why not soak up the atmosphere of Italy as well as avoiding paying high-street prices for your designer goods?  Spend a long weekend with us focused around outlet shopping coupled with a visit to the hat makers, a workshop to make your own shoes or why not try your hand at pottery?
