Special week-long writing retreat with RUTH BRANDT - more than 4 places available
9th - 16th May 2020
A creative writing retreat led by Ruth which will include taught sessions covering the art and craft of writing, discussions of course attendees’ particular interests, free time for working on your own writing projects or to develop pieces of writing started in class, workshop time to get feedback from the tutor and other class members and one-to-one sessions.
This course will look at aspects of fiction writing - including characters, dialogue, setting and story structure - common to all forms of fiction writing. Whether you are already working on a project, want to start something new, or simply want to try writing for the first time, you will receive guidance and feedback in a supportive, constructive workshop atmosphere. You will have plenty of time to write while enjoying the delights of an Italian early summer.

If you are arriving at a time that really doesn’t tie in with the group or arriving a day or so earlier we can arrange for a taxi to pick you up. The cost of a taxi is in the region of €150. If there is anybody else arriving doing the same we will arrange it so that you can share the transport costs.
Similarly for departure, for retreats the rooms are to be vacated by 10:00 on the morning of departure. Departure time will be set based on the majority of the group. Again we will do our very best to accommodate everyone.
